Signals, a technology platform developed to assess the sentiments of staff, clients, and stakeholders through SMS, Slack, WhatsApp and other channels. Achieved through a rapid-fire feedback loop facilitated via a users existing chat or social applications.
State Empire is the principal development team working with Signals across their entire technology strategy, from SMS, WhatsApp integrations to the Signals Machine Learning models and implementation.
Signals, a sophisticated technology solution designed to evaluate the sentiments of staff, clients, and stakeholders through various communication channels such as SMS, Slack, WhatsApp, with more integrations to come.
To ensure scalability and flexibility, we leverage AWS infrastructure, utilizing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methodology, this allows us to rapidly iterate, make updates on the fly, and deploy the platform across multiple environments seamlessly and quickly. Disprupting the 'move fast and break things' adage to 'move fast make things' 😏
For the back-end architecture, we implemented a serverless Python REST API. This decision enabled us to optimize resource allocation and scalability while maintaining efficient performance at scale. Two instances dedicated to managing scheduling tasks, ensuring smooth operation and reliable execution of Signals' machine learning models and components.
Infinite Crawl-able Homepages
One request when building the architecture for the front-end CMS, was the ability to spin up landing pages for an "unknown" amount of serviceable industries and verticals. Creating individualised pages at speed, with a unique layout, colouring and content while still holding the core branding out front.
Similar to our own website, we developed a colour theme system for each page, and each content block. The themes can be spun up dynamically and colours associated keeping to AA requirements.
We deeply recognize the significance of prioritizing the end-user experience, ensuring their satisfaction and safeguarding their privacy for Signals was number one two and three in the brief. We've implemented robust measures to abstract and anonymize the responses received from users.
Our focus is on separating the individual's identity from their feedback, treating each response as a valuable data point rather than personal information. By abstracting the data from any identifying elements, we create an essentially invisible experience for the users, fostering a sense of security and encouraging open and honest feedback.
Our commitment to maintaining the anonymity of users not only respects their privacy but also promotes a more transparent and reliable sentiment analysis process, allowing organizations to gain valuable insights while respecting the confidentiality of their stakeholders.
Through a genuine partnership, we have collaborated closely to develop a remarkable product and service that not only places the end-user at the forefront but also embodies innovation and an unwavering dedication to our continuous growth as a company.
By combining these technologies and components, we created Signals as a comprehensive solution that empowers organizations to gather valuable feedback and insights from their stakeholders in an efficient and user-friendly manner.
Signals launched successfully in May 2022, with some of Australia’s largest brands jumping on board pretty quickly, we continue to build new features for continuous iterations.
